Start a Franchise Business
Low risk business as a proven success system

Franchising is one of the fastest and successful method for business expansion and market penetration today, tomorrow and in future. Malaysia may be considered is still in its early stages. However, our strong government support has now boosted the growth of the industry and home grown franchisors are now venturing internationally. The government has targeted the establishment of 50 new home grown franchisor and 1000 new franchisee by 2010 as part of the 9th Malaysia plan.

Franchise is not a distributorship or dealership.  All franchise appointments are for a fixed period of time.  The appointed franchisees are given the exclusive right to use of the franchisor’s Intellectual Property like the trade name and trade mark, systems or knowhow to operate the business in a specific territory only for a specific period of time, normally ranging from three to ten years.  Unless the franchisee has seriously failed to meet its obligations,  most franchisors will renew the agreement when it has expired. All franchise businesses in Malaysia are governed by the Franchise Act, 1988.

People may start their business on their own, why should they pay for a franchise? The answer is buying a franchise considered an easier way for one to becoming an entrepreneur. That is why Malaysia Government established many agencies to help accelerate the industry by building up its entrepreneurship.

We encourage the fresh graduates who aspired to be entrepreneur to take up a franchise rather than start-up their own business from the scratch. It is simply because of the minimal risk. A franchise provides an immediate proven business model that is viable, profitable. A brand built by the franchisor is instantly recognizable. All kind of supports in managerial, operational, marketing, staffing, problem-solving capabilities, financing etc from franchisor are an assurance to sustain a successful business.
